On Tuesday, September 6th at 9 am, you can access the trip registration and make payment here. Prior to registering for the trip, you will need to create an account with Cornell University Ticket Sales.
Join the International Students and Scholars Office (ISSO) for a day trip to Niagara Falls, NY and see one of the world's natural wonders!
Cornell international students and staff, and their family and guests are welcome!
The ISSO is using a new procedure which was initiated earlier this summer, for signing up for the trip to Niagara Falls. Please look over the information carefully, so that trip registration goes smoothly on Tuesday, September 6th.
Here is what is new:
(1)Particpants will be required to use the Cornell University Ticket Sales online system for registration and payment. On September 6 at 9 am, you can access the trip registration and make payment here.
(2) Credit card/debit card and bursar charges are the only acceptable forms of payment.
(3) Prior to registering for the trip, you will need to login and create an account with Cornell University Ticket Sales.
(4)Once we have sold 159 tickets and reached maximum capacity, the trip will be closed but a waitlist will be available on September 7th. You can access the waitlist here.
Here is what stays the same:
(1) All participants must complete and submit a trip waiver to the ISSO before September 21st. After you've made payment through Cornell University Ticket Sales and received your confirmation from them, go to the ISSO website and print the waiver and sign it. The waiver can then be faxed to 607 255 2778, or scanned and sent via email to Scott Beemer (firstname.lastname@example.org). Alternatively, registrants can come into the ISSO at B-50 Caldwell Hall and pick up and complete the waiver. If you signed up for family members, each adult will also need to complete a waiver. A waiver for children under the age of 18 must be signed by the parent. All waiver(s) must be completed and submitted to the ISSO office before the trip to Niagara Falls.
(2) Trip is free for children 3 years old and younger who will sit on parents lap, and will not require a seat on the bus. Please do not include these children in the online registration as you will be charged. You will add your child's name to the trip roster when you come in to the ISSO to complete their waiver.

Cancellation policy: If you cancel anytime after September 16th, or do not show up for the bus on the day of the trip, your money will not be refunded.

About halfway to Niagara Falls, each bus will stop for about 20 minutes at a New York State Thruway rest stop for breakfast.
11:00 am-Arrive in Niagara Falls. Passengers will be dropped off at Goat Island (just across a walking bridge from the main park).

Due to current circumstances, we strongly advise you NOT to cross over the border to Canada. Incidents are increasing where people have crossed over and were prohibited by immigration officials to re-enter the U.S. Please be advised that if you decide to cross into Canada and then are not allowed to re-enter the U.S., the ISSO bus may have to leave without you and the ISSO Trip Leader may not be able to help you until s/he returns to Ithaca.
What is there to see at Niagara Falls?
At the Observation Tower see dramatic views of all three Falls. A glass-walled elevator rises above the Falls, then descends to the base for a boat tour. Experience the excitement of the Maid of the Mist Boat Tour and The Cave of the Winds. Tour the Aquarium of Niagara or Niagara's Wax Museum of History.
