We at the ISSO would like to help you get settled at Cornell and in Ithaca as well as helping you with your immigration issues. We have gathered information that we feel would be useful to you and have presented it here as well as in handouts at the ISSO.

New International Students
In addition to the information in the links at the left, you may find answers to your questions in our "Coming to Cornell" guides available below in PDF form.
New Students MUST Check in at the ISSO!
Newly Arriving International Students MUST check in to the ISSO no later than 30 days after the start date on your I-20 or DS-2019. If you do not check in at the ISSO, you may lose your valid immigration status in the U.S.
To check in, come to the ISSO at B-50 Caldwell Hall and bring with you:
- your passport,
- I-94 card and
- I-20 or DS-2019.
